Six and a half years later, I'm still putting my stuff out to other people before letting my editor see it. And I always will.<BR/><BR/>Getting critiqued can be painful (it takes a while to thicken up that skin), but getting that feedback is so crucial. <BR/><BR/>No matter how good a writer you are, you can't step back and be objective with your own stuff; it's impossible.
